XP Bytes: Good Fat Dressing!

Eating clean and wondering what should go on your salads?  Toss the crappy store-bought dressings and sink your fangs on this recipe! In 5 minutes you’ll have the perfect salad dressing/dip.  Top your meats, salads, or whatever with this stuff!  Watch the first of many video shorts called “XP Bytes”! 1 -2 Red Bell Peppers

Fresh Jalepeno or Habanero (quantity depends on heat level desired)

1-2 Bushels of either Basil or Cilantro (depends on flavor desired, Mexican or Italian)

2-4 Fresh Garlic Cloves

1/2 to 1 Cups of Olive Oil

A handful of Almonds (roasted or raw, unsalted)

1 Limes

½ to one whole Onion (optional)

Sea Salt to Taste

1 Avocado

*Use smaller quantity listed for 3-4 people, larger quantity listed for larger station or more folks.


Chop red peppers & place into blender (for a smokier flavor, you can also roast them & peel first).  Pour Olive Oil into blender.  Mince Jalepenos or Habaneros, Basil or Cilantro, garlic cloves, avocado and onion and put into blender.  Drop in the almonds and squeeze the limes into the blender.  Blend to desired consistency, a bit chunky is best because you can feel the crunch of the almonds.  Add salt to taste.
