Finding Your Plan

There is no doubt about it – Eating healthy is difficult. Society constantly bombards us with visions of sinful food choices. Burgers, pizza, pasta, donuts, beer (oh, beer!) and other scrumptious bites are shoved in our faces on a daily basis. The sad reality is that we know they aren’t the best food choices, but they are cheap and readily available.

Finding a healthy way to eat that is sustainable is also a real challenge. But I’m here to tell you, it is absolutely doable. All it takes is commitment, consistency and a bit of preparation. Over the past 10 or so years, I have tried a variety of different food methods until I nailed down what actually works for me. This website is all about summarizing that research and trial/error process I’ve experienced on  my journey and sharing it with each of you. I’ve filtered out the foods and plans that did not net significant results.

In the following pages, I will present three solid options for your food intake. I have tried and succeeded with every one of these methods. To this day, I rotate back and forth with each of these methods depending on my dietary needs in relation to my physical training. But all-in-all, I still follow the Paleolithic Method about 80% of the time. These methods are certainly not all my creation, either. Both the Paleolithic Method and The Zone Diet are world-renowned, tried-and-true methods with information readily available on the internet. The third method on the site, however, The Balance Method, is a culmination of my experiences, research and knowledge of healthy eating, with heavy emphasis on consuming smaller portions multiple times per day.

The choice is yours. My goal is to present these three viable options to you and have you make the choice. You need to find something that you can get behind and commit your life to. Some of the concepts I will cover may not sit well with you, such as eliminating grains. No problem! Please understand that I do not expect you to believe everything I say without researching or trying the concepts for yourself. I’ve just tried to trim the fat for you. These plans work! Your results may vary slightly from my own, but for the most part, if you commit to any one of these methods, you will see marked differences! Also, don’t be afraid to branch out and research your own plan! Maybe there’s something out there that I don’t know about yet! If, in your adventures of health, you find something that you feel works better than my presented plans, please let me know! I’m always open to trying new things and presenting fresh information to my readers.

So follow the drop-down links and browse the methods. I’m sure you can find one that works for you!
